Uddrag af Edda Snorra Sturlusonar By Jesper Lauridsen, 2020 Snorri's Edda was written in Iceland around 1220 by the famous skald Snorri Sturluson as a handbook of poetry – in Iceland known as skaldic poetry. A precondition for mastering this complex discipline, however, is an understanding of Norse mythology. For that reason, the first part of Snorri's Edda (the Gylfaginning) consists of a number of stories about the Nordic gods. | ||||
