| + | :::::::::::'''Källskrifter till lapparnas mytologi''' is a collection of sources on Sámi religion and mythology. The book presents key historical texts that illuminate Sámi myths, deities, rituals, and cosmology as they have been transmitted through early accounts, missionary writings, and ethnographic sources. The work provides readers with access to the written foundations for the study of Sámi mythology and makes it possible to trace how religious ideas have been interpreted, described, and at times distorted in the encounter between Sámi tradition and European scholarship. As a source collection, the book remains indispensable for anyone interested in Sámi culture.

Order here: '''[[Heimskringla Reprint]]'''. | ||

HEIMSKRINGLA
HEIMSKRINGLA is the largest collection of Old Norse and Nordic source texts on the internet – currently some 8800 titles. HEIMSKRINGLA primarily consists of Eddic texts, sagas, and skaldic poetry, as well as background material and sources on Sami, Finnish, and Greenlandic culture. HEIMSKRINGLA is based on the belief that these texts – as part of our shared cultural heritage – should be freely accessible to everyone.
