| − | ::::::::::: | + | ::::::::::::When Jens Rosing had completed the manuscript for '''SAGN OG SAGA''' and was asked about the book’s content, he replied: ''"It is a drama so intense that words cannot exaggerate it, and as powerful as only Indigenous peoples can experience it. It is a book filled with storms and tempests, yet also with many calm, sunlit days—just like the nature from which the Inuit shaped their spirit."'' |
| − | ::::::::::: | + | ::::::::::::The first legend dates back 20,000–30,000 years, to a time when the Inuit lived as mammoth hunters. Later, we witness terrifying periods when famine ravaged settlements, and cannibalism became a reality. |

HEIMSKRINGLA
HEIMSKRINGLA is the largest collection of Old Norse and Nordic source texts on the internet – currently some 8400 titles. HEIMSKRINGLA primarily consists of Eddic texts, sagas, and skaldic poetry, as well as background material and sources on Sami, Finnish, and Greenlandic culture. HEIMSKRINGLA is based on the belief that these texts – as part of our shared cultural heritage – should be freely accessible to everyone.
